At the end of the season, we would especially like to thank our faithful fans. Once again, they reached the record breaking attendances, and have proven to be by far the most loyal in the Croatian league.
We are proud that this season more than 200 thousand spectators watched Hajduk matches at Poljud, in spite that no less than three matches were played behind the closed doors, and once Hajduk was a host in Dugopolje.
Not counting closed door matches, Poljud had almost 11 thousand viewers in average. It's a little less than last season, when Hajduk averaged 11,639 viewers per match. Counting matches without spectators, averages are still high in Croatian terms, ate 9,500 viewers per match.
Season record was broken on the match vs. Dnipro, with 34,000 viewers. The European League matches were real magnet for fans, averages on three matches (Dundalk, Shakhter and Dnipro) were 26.297.
As expected, the highest attendances in MAXtv First League were whenever Hajduk played against Dinamo. Derbies at Poljud watched 18,000 viewers in the first match, and 20,000 for the second one.
