On Friday evening, Hajduk footballers arrived to their traditional winter training base in Turkish Belek. They took a morning flight from Zagreb to Istanbul and then to Antalya, from where they went to Belek by bus and arrived there at about 6 pm (8 pm LT).

This year, they will be staying in the hotel Titanic Deluxe Golf Belek, which will be their training base until January 25, when they are returning to Split. Coach Igor Tudor chose 28 players for the winter training camp and training sessions are starting on Saturday morning.

Former Hajduk player and captain Zoran Nižić and former Hajduk II coach Marko Lozo welcomed them at the hotel. Namely, Nižić is staying in the same hotel with his team Akhmat Grozny, while Lozo is currently there as assistant coach of Sabah from Azerbaijan, together with a fitness coach Igor Čuković, who up to few days ago was Hajduk U-19 fitness coach.

The first friendly match will take place on January 14 against Grasshoper from Switzerland. On January 17 they are meeting Hungarian Honved and on the 20th Vardar from North Macedonia. The last international friendly match will take place on January 24 against Dinamo Kiev.
