On Saturday at Poljud, in the 32nd round of MAXtv First League, Hajduk has confirmed the great form in the spring part of the season. They won Osijek 5:1 and coach Joan Carrillo's team has thus come to the best result in the last five seasons in terms of points taken and goals scored.

Hajduk has collected the fifth consecutive victory and took 62 points in the First League, which is their best result in the last five seasons of the MAXtv First League (from the season 2012/13). The closest to this year's situation after 32 rounds was in the season 2013/14, when they took 59 points. Last year, Hajduk took 58 points from the same number of matches.

In this period, Hajduk has collected 18 wins, eight draws and seven defeats, which is the best result in the last five seasons (if we take 32 First League rounds). In the seasons 2013/14 and 2015/16, Hajduk collected 16 wins.

In the MAXtv First League, Hajduk scored as many as 61 goals and they are the highest scoring team in the League. The goal difference after 32 rounds is plus 34, with 61 goals scored (1.9 per match) and 27 conceded goals, which is is also the highest goal difference in the last five years. In comparison, last season after the same number of matches, Hajduk had a goal difference of plus 21 (41:20) and a total of 46 scored goals in the season.
