Adam Gyurcso scored the first two goals in 4:2 victory over Istra 1961 at Aldo Drosina stadium in Pula. These were the first goals of the Hungarian winger in HT First League this season. Gyurcso scored his first goal in the 21st minute, punishing Cardoz's mistake, and only four minutes later he scored another goal, after Jairo's great assists.
"It was a very important match for us, we did not enter well the season and every game is the most important thing for us. We have to catch up with the top of the table as soon as possible and that's why I am very happy that we took three points today and that I could contribute to that with two goals" said the Hungarian after the game.
He noted that he feels progress in his game compared to the start of the season.
"I'm improving my form every new match, I know what I can be better and I'm sure the hard work from each training will be visible sooner or later. Coach Vulić helped us become self-confident again, he gives us more freedom and it is visible that we enjoy on the field".
The Croatian Cup round of 32 match against Vrapce will be their next game, followed by the biggest Croatian football derby where Hajduk is hosting Dinamo at Poljud.
"I don't want to talk about Dinamo until Wednesday, everything can happen in the Cup matches, and our focus will now to the next match only. After the match against Vrapče we will think about how to beat Dinamo" Gyurcso concluded.
