Already in his first season at Poljud, Márkó Futács broke one record. In the last 25 years no player of Hajduk has had as successful start in the Club's first team. In his 11 official matches, he scored eight goals, the last one for a 0:1 lead against HNK Rijeka on Saturday at Rujevica. On the list of the most successful first team new comers, he left behind Tomislav Busic, who has so far been the top scorer in his first 11 official appearances, namely in 2004 within the same period and number of matches, he scored seven goals, just like Almir Turkovic one season earlier. In the same year 2003, Natko Racki scored six goals in the first 11 appearances and Sandro Gotal scored the same number of goals in 2014. Interestingly, this season, Ante Erceg scored six goals in his first 11 appearances for Hajduk.

Apart from eight goals in 11 appearances (628 minutes played) Hajduk's striker Futács has also had three assists. He played four full time matches and earned one yellow card. He was in the starting 11 in six out of 11 matches. In the last eight matches, he scored a goal in seven.
