Fran Tudor scored the leading goal against Osijek in the 41st minute. The twenty-two-year-old winger scored a goal in the two consecutive games.

"In the first half we were a bit better, they were better in the second half so this is a fair result. We didn't take the chances we had, we now have to turn to Rijeka and the Cup final. We should continue in the same rhythm, but somehow we stopped. Osijek was better at the beginning of the second half, they scored and we didn't manage to score one more goal. This game is behind us, we will fight for the second place in the last round".

Injury sustained during winter preparations stopped Fran for nearly three months, he even didn't score this season, but then in only four days he scored two. First in the victory against Istra 1961 in Pula, and then in a draw with Osijek at Poljud. He is returning to good shape, which is very visible...

"I lack continuity, but it's up to me to prove myself every match. I will play as much as I can and try to continue this way. We need to regenerate as soon as possible for the match with Rijeka. It is up to us now to win every following game. We just have to think of ourselves and our game".

Andre Fomitschow, who played all 90 minutes against Osijek, agrees that this is a fair result.

"The opponents could score for a lead at the beginning, but Karlo Letica saved us. We had good chances afterwards and finally we took one of them. But later, we made a lot of mistakes, we did not have enough concentration at certain moments. Osijek went out better in the second half and deserved to equalize. We tried to score that winning goal, it didn't work and the result is, when considering all of this, realistic".

Hajduk will play last two games of the season. First against Rijeka at Rujevica on Saturday at 17.00 and then the derby against Dinamo in Croatian Football Cup final on Wednesday, May 23 in Vinkovci.

"We will fight for the second place, we still have a chance, and then we are playing a great final against Dinamo. Each player is motivated enough for that match and we will do our best to win the trophy" concluded the left back.
