Left back Andre Fomitschow played all 90 minutes in the match in Korpivnica. He had a few attempts from distance and his best shot took place right before the end of the first half, when he tried to surprise the home team's goalkeeper Antun Markovic from the left side, but he hit the beam instead.

"We expected that this will not be an easy match because Belupo based their game on defense more than on attacking game. In such matches, it is important to score the first goal, then it is easier to play, but we didn't manage to score. Details matter in such matches. You have to stay concentrated because Belupo is dangerous from counterattacks. We defended well  but we were not efficient in the attack. It would be much easier if we scored the first goal but they really defended well. They were highly agressive and good in duels. We are sorry that we didn't win but we now have to focus on the next game immediately" said Fomitschow after the match.

Midfielder Toma Basic agrees with him:

"We expected that they would play like this, everyone in block behind the ball. It's very difficult to get into a chance with that kind of defense. We had one good chance when Juranovic passed to Futacs but we didn't manage to score from it. We are sorry that we lost points but we are professionals and we will now prepare for the next matches and give our best in each one of them till the end of the season, since our goal is to get as many points as possible".
