The new player of Hajduk André Fomitschow had his first training session with the teammates at the stadium Hrvatski vitezovi in Dugopolje. The 26-year-old left back signed for Hajduk on Friday and on Saturday joined the pre-season preparations with the rest of the squad:
"Immediately at the first training, I felt that the team spirit is present, which, to be honest, delighted me. It's my first day but I don't think it will take long to adapt since the teammates are extremely friendly" Andre told his first impressions after the first training session.
Coach Joan Carrillo explained the plan and program of work.
"Coach Carrillo and his assistants presented their expectations of me, and after the first training I liked the philosophy of the game and the idea of football they have created".
On Saturday, the first training took place in Dugopolje, and in the afternoon on the main pitch of Poljud. It was an intense training session that lasted for almost two hours, focused on tactics. By the time they leave for Pohorje, there will have two more training sessions.
In Hajduk's traditional summer camp, the team will be preparing for 12 days and play several friendly matches, and on July 8, they will return to Split. The first official match in the new season will take place on July 13, when Hajduk is playing the 2nd qualifying round of the Europa League.
