1 - HVAR ROOTS
Fran Tudor was born on September 27, 1995 in Zagreb, and is distantly related to the former Hajduk coach Igor Tudor, although they were never introduced to each other.
His usual vacationing spot is Milna on island Hvar, and with father Tomislav being a Hajduk fan, Fran became the same since childhood.
2 - BEGINNING AS A FORWARD
Fran plays football since the age of six, first in Mladost from Buzin, and his first position was forward.
He was first noticed when trashed Lokomotiva with few goals on some tournament, and spent three years in Dinamo. However, his really first club was Zagreb, where he played through all young categories.
Back then, he was already right midfielder, but he already showed to be able of playing forward or on the side. Even scoring with a head is not a problem, in spite of being only 1.72 m tall.
3 - MATURED IN ATHENS
Before he landed in Split Fran Tudor spent a year in Athens, as a member of the Panathinaikos' young team. He wasn't allowed to play due to a problem with payment agreement between the Greek team and Zagreb.
As a teenager he lived away from his family, which was a valuable life and football experience. He says that Danijel Pranjić was really helpful and encouraging during his football development.
4 - A HIGH SCHOOLER WHO ADMIRES MESSI
Fran graduated from XIII Gimnasyium high school in Zagreb. His parents insisted on finishing education, although football was always his first choice.
As with many other young players, he admires Leo Messi, and considers him as coming from another planet. Messi is his favourite player, a fantastic footballer Fran enjoys watching.
5 - THE FIRST GOAL TO REMEMBER
Goal in his premiered performance with Hajduk is something special. Fran Tudor kept as a souvenir his jersey with number 32 he wore in a match against Rijeka.
He says there were many congratulations and messages from family members and friends. He was happy for scoring, but sad about losing the match.
