
By this evening's training session on the main pitch, Hajduk's first team has returned to Poljud after the winter break, together with their head coach Zeljko Kopic and his assistants. In the coming weeks, they will be preparing for the second half of the season, after a 20-day long winter break. Coach Kopic invited 23 players and three goalkeepers, who trained with their coach Tihomir Bulat. Stanko Juric, captain of NK Dugopolje joined them on his first training session with Hajduk. Strikers Franck Ohandza and Marko Futacs, as well as midfielder Hamza Barry will join the rest of the team on Wednesday.
Coach Kopic and his associates explained the plan and program of the mid-season preparations to the players, it will last till the first match that is scheduled for February 11, when Hajduk is plaing against Cibalia in Vinkovci.
Five young and talented players of Hajduk Michele Sego (2000), Darko Nejasmic (1999), Domagoj Bradaric (1999), Tonio Teklić (1999) and Franko Kovacevic (1999) have also started training with the first team.
During the first part of preparations for the remaining part of the season, the team will train in Split and on Sunday, January 14, they are playing a friendly match against NK Varteks at Poljud, kick – off 13:00. The team then goes on a winter training camp in Turjey, where they wil ltrain for 16 more days and play three international friendly matches (Zurich, Lech Poznan and Trencin)
