Exciting derby was played at Poljud, in front of nearly 25,000 spectators who came to support Hajduk in the match against their biggest opponent. We saw as many as three goals from the 89th to 90+4th minute. The away team from Zagreb turned the match around in only three minutes and the final 2:2 was set by Ante Erceg, who scored both goals for Hajduk, from a penalty kick in the added time.

"The feelings in the dressing room are divided. We are sorry that we didn't win, but since we were losing 2:1 in the 94th minute, we must finally be satisfied with one point from the game. We need to establish why we are conceding goals in the last moments of the match and correct those mistakes. After a long time, we entered the game well and the supporters recognized it. We were the better tram for 70-80 minutes, and then the things changed. The coach told us to continue playing like we did in the first half, to try to score another goal that would ease the situation. But we somehow pulled back unintentionally" said Erceg.

Ante got in contact with Dinamo's defender Sigali two minutes after the goal, but referee Tihomir Pejin did not award another penalty kick for Hajduk.

"We were in the duel, he hit my leg and pushed me".

Atmosphere at the stadium was really fantastic from the first to the last seconds of the match, Torcida made a spectacular ambience on the stands.

"Congratulations to our supporters on the great atmosphere they created. This was a very good match for spectators, a derby as it should be, with a lot of goals. There was nervousness present, but it is normal because everyone wants to win. We must be proud of our game. The whole team fought for the victory".

Captain Zoran Nizic was unhappy with the result:

"I'm sorry we didn't win all three points. There was a lack of concentration in the final minutes. We played 80 minutes well, where they did not threaten us almost at all. And then two goals in two minutes. We however found more strength to strike again in the last two or three minutes, and it paid back to us. We pulled back a little, they didn't have any chances until they scored two goals due to our mistakes. I don't know whether they were offside when they scored the first goal, it's possible. We didn't deserve to lose two points. We proved that we know how to play and that Dinamo is not a better team".
