Erceg scored Hajduk's 300th goal in European club competitions!

The goal scored by Ante Erceg in the 82nd minute of the match against Olexandriya is Hajduk's 300th goal in the official European competitions.

The first goal was scored in 1927, in the first round of the Central European International Cup in Vienna against Rapid. It was the first Hajduk's European match and already in the first minute, Mirko Bonacic scored the first goal.

Since then, Hajduk played 47 European season and a total of 207 matches, with a goal difference of +42 (301:259), and reached an average of 1.45 goals per game.

Most goals (183) have been scored in the UEFA Cup or Europa League, then in the Champions Cup and League (58), Cup Winners' Cup (31), Central European Cup (17), Rappan Cup (7) and the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup (5).

The the Cup Winners' Cup match in 1987, against Olympique Marseille, Hajduk scored two more goals (Asanovic and Bursac), but the game was registered with the result 0: 3 (par-forte), so these goals are not included in the total sum.

So far, a total of 122 players scored a goal in European club competitions, the top scorer being Zlatko Vujovic with 19 goals scored, followed by Slavisa Žungul with 14, Ivica Šurjak and Ivan Gudelj who scored 9, Tomislav Erceg and Mijo Caktas who scored 7 goals etc.

With regards to opponents, Hajduk scored most goals to GI Gotu from the Faroe Islands (11), followed by  Keflavik from Iceland (9), Swedish Malmo and Floriana and Zurrieq (both Malta) against which Hajduk scored 8 goals etc.
