
Hajduk and Osijek are playing their second match in only four days, this time at Gradski vrt in Osijek, where their Cup quarter-final match will take place today, kick- off 18:00. Their championship match ended in 1:1 draw. Today's match will be completely different, since both teams want to qualify to the Cup semi-finals and we believe that Hajduk is going to be the better team and celebrate after today's match.
The coaching staff analyzed their last championship match and everyone is now fully concentrated on the Cup match. At the pre-match press conference, coach Zeljko Kopic said that he will do his best to prepare the team and win this match.
The first team arrived to Osijek yesterday, all players are ready for the match apart from Marko Futacs and Gustavo Carbonieri, who are still recovering from injuries. Captain Zoran Nizic has recovered from a kick in the head in the 33rd minute of the championship match in Split, after which he had to leave the game.
Defender Borja Lopez and striker Ahmed Said Said are also at coach's disposal for the Cup match, while they will miss the match against Rijeka on Saturday due to accumulated three yellow cards.
The match officials have been appointed and they are as follows: match referee Mario Zebec from Cestica, assistant referees Borut Krizaric from Cakovec and Ivica Modric from Zagreb, additional assistant referees Igor Krizaric from Cakovec and Igor Pajac from Zelina, fourth official Vedran Durak from Stupno, match delegate Zoran Pandza from Vinkovci and referee observer Dusan Kukic from Sisak.
