Zoran Vulić started his new engagement as Hajduk's head coach with victory. It was more than well deserve win against Rudeš from Zagreb, in their HT First League, round 7 match. Hajduk celebrated 3:1, although the goal difference could have been even higher. Mijo Caktaš scored two goals and Mirko Ivanovski scored one.
"It was a demanding and tough game because of the state of mind we were in. The team reacted well. although they had some occasional black-outs. All in all, I have to be satisfied, we deserved this victory. There was no fear, the players wanted to win from the first minutee had to win this match, everyone was nervous, tomorrow we will get some rest and then we are turning to Istra" said Hajduk's head coach after the match.
