In HT FIrst League, round 13 match, Hajduk and Gorica shared points in Velika Gorica. Atiemwen scored for a lead of the home team early in the match, while Jairo scored an equalizer for Hajduk. From the 43rd minute, Hajduk played with 11 men against 10, after Igor Čagalj was shown a straight red card, but the result didn't change.

Coach Zoran Vulić held a post-match press conference in Velika Gorica and said:

"We played a good first half, however Gorica took advantage of one our mistake from which they scored for a lead. We scored an equalizer and then their player was sent off, but it didn't make any difference to us, I was expecting that we put more pressure on them but we didn't. It was not good".
