In the 21st City derby against RNK Split, Hajduk scored two goals in the second half in a 2:1 comeback.
Marko Futacs scored an equalizer in the 56th and Toma Basic a winning goal in the 81st minute. Pesic scored foR RNK Split in the 42nd minute.
Head coach Marijan Pusnik held a post - match press conference:
"I want to stress that today was an important day in Hajduk's history. After the event at Pjaca this morning, where it was so emotional, that energy should be appreciated by all of us that are working in the club and it should be visible in our game. We played one of our worst first halves, there were so many mistakes in passing the ball but the important fact is that Hajduk keeps winning. We have been playing better second halves for a while now, but we cannot let our opponents score such an easy goal in the upcoming matches. I want to congratulate Toma Basic for a wonderful goal, well done. There are no match starters and substitutes, we are all Hajduk!" concluded Pusnik.
