Hajduk won't be able to enjoy the traditional support from the North stands but can count on great support from the East and the South and the West, on their next home match against Inter Zapresic on Sunday, kick - off 17:00 (MAXtv First League, round 17).
There are no suspended players of Hajduk for this match and they all eagarly expect this first in a series of three important matches in the next eight days. It will also be specific because of a ban of the North stands of the stadium, from where they normally have a strong support.
On Sunday Inter Zapresic arrives at Poljud while on Wednesday Hajduk plays against RNK Split at Park mladezi stadium (Cup quarter - finals), and then on Sunday, they play an away match against Slaven Belupo in Koprivnica.
Here is what coach Marijan Pusnik said ahead of the first match, against NK Inter Zapresic:
"It would be best if tomorrow we enjoy an overall good game with our victory. But in this weather, it's difficult to promise it. I hope our midfielders will play well and there will be goals, so as to finally stop those stories that we don't have a game. It is absurd to say something like that. Although Inter and us are one next to another at the League table, the difference in points is huge. We're better and we have to show it tomorrow. I expect all three points".
