Head coach Marijan Pusnik held his pre - match press conference on Saturday morning, before the team's departure for the Croatian derby against GNK Dinamo, on Sunday, October 02, 2016 at Maksimir stadium, kick - off 17:00.

"I have told the players that whatever the result was, on Monday the same players and coach will be there. The match is important, but not vital. It is only the round 11 of the Championship. We didn't play badly in the first half of the first game against Dinamo, we were equal. Now we are a little bit more used to each other, physically ready, but there is still far more until we reach what I expect from Hajduk. At this moment, Dinamo is maybe not playing their best football, but they are still the strongest Croatian team. But that does not mean we cannot win at Maksimir. All players except Erceg are healthy and ready. I always have two or three combinations, but 19 players will travel to Zagreb. The team is ready, we are improving. Our strikers are currently in great shape, our midfielders can run a lot, and if the defense is at the level, we can then be satisfied" concluded Pusnik.
