Hajduk lost the Croatian derby against Dinamo that took place at Maksimir stadium in Zagreb. Dinamo won 1:0 and the first half of the season was concluded with this match.
"Dinamo put a lot of pressure on us at the beginning, they dominated and created some good chances but as their initial pressure on goal weakened, we started playing as se wanted. We didn't lose control of the game and we showed how we are going to play in the future. Even before the match, I said that this would be a test for us to understand better whether the young talents can take responsibility in such matches. Unfortunately, they scored the only goal from a free kick, I wish this effort brought us some points" said head coach Siniša Oreščanin after the derby.
