Hajduk beat Istra 1961 3:1 in HT First League round 17. After the match, coach Siniša Oreščanin said:
"These were very tough 90 minutes for us but it's important that we won. From the day I took over this team, I see they are highly motivated and want to improve the general image everyone has about them. I think we succeeded in it, regardless the result in Osijek. There are many things that we need to work on and we can improve a lot our presentation".
