Hajduk lost the derby with Dinamo this evening at Poljud. After a 1:0 defeat, coach Siniša Oreščanin commented the match:

"It was a tough derby and a constant fight on the field. The opponents came out as winners, they have more experience and they scored that one goal. Some of our players played their first derby in Split, It was not a beautiful football but there was a lot of intensity in the game. The things that we wanted were not at the right level but a derby is a derby. We tried to dominate possession through passes and combination but their defenders are making the difference throughout the season. I don't blame my players for anything and I want to thank our supporters for coming. Our main focus is to recover and prepare for Osijek. The life goes on and I'm absolutely positive despite this defeat".
