Hajduk defeated Lokomotiva after a good match at Poljud in which they deserved to get three new points. Hajduk collected 14 shots (seven on target) but only one resulted in a goal, which in the end was enough for a new victory.

"We played the entire first half against 11 players, we sought our chance in the middle, but we lacked security and quality in the attempts on goal. After we managed to score a goal, we put an emphasis on trying to score another goal and solve the match. We had good reactions to lost possession, we did not give them a chance for fast transition. In the second half we knew they would come out on the pitch differently, and with Krstanovic's entry we had to fight extra danger on our goal. We did not control the game to the end, but we remained stable and we deserved to win the match" said Hajduk's head coach Zeljko Kopic after the celebration at Poljud.
