In the last friendly match on the winter training camp in Turkish Belek, Hajduk again celebrated, this time against Slovakian Trencin, with the same result as in their last year's friendly match (4:2). They are returning to Split with three wins in three international friendlies in Turkey. Zeljko Kopic's players showed good football in today's match. Fast transition, high pressure and line synchronization is what, among other things, was seen today at the Titanic Deluxe pitch in Belek.
"We generally played a good match in which we scored four goals. There was visible mental and physical tiredness, we were a little slower in reactions. But when I sum up all the matches and training, I'm happy with the team. I know there was a lot of hard training and demanding matches, but I'm fully satisfied with the outcome" said coach Kopic after the match.
"The team presented a lot of things in these three matches. The tendency will be to play forward, we are going to do our best to be the ones who dictate the game. I see many good things, but I'm aware there's still a lot of work ahead of us" concluded the head coach Kopic.
