Hajduk enters the finish of the new season preparations.
In Austria they will play two friendlies, today at 7 pm vs Ried, and on Saturday at 7 pm against the third-division team Vorwärts, both in Steyr. Those two games will be a final test ahead of the new season which begins very soon. Next Thursday, on July 2 Hajduk plays the first leg of the first qualification round for the European League, vs. JK Sillamäe Kalev of Estonia. Match begins at 7.30pm local time, or 8.30pm Croatian time.
"I am very satisfied with a job we did during these preparations. We have a young, highly potent team, with players who really want to improve. I amd pleased with their approach and work. If we keep that kind of approach we can hope for some really good things in the new season," said Hajduk head coach Damir Burić.
