Hajduk won the fifth consecutive home game at Poljud stadium. With a loud support of more than 13 000 spectators, they beat Inter Zaprešić 3:1. Coach Damir Burić's team is currently on the top end of the table with 19 points, three more then their runner-up.
"We watched a tough match, the matches like this one are always like that because of high expectations. The opponent was focused on defending tactics and it was tough to break their defense. We however had countless number of chances. It was obvious that we wanted to win this game, our desire was very visible and we managed to do it, which is why I want to congratulate my team, we will now move on to the next games and their preparation" said head coach Burić after the game.
