Hajduk's head coach Damir Burić held a post-match press conference after his team beat Varaždin 3:0 in the first away championship match. This was their second consecutive victory and after the match, coach commended his team for how they played.
"It was a good game, both teams had their chances, we started well but then Varaždin also had some good periods. We deserved this victory, it's important that we are coming back home with three new points. The fact that we didn't concede a goal is also important for our self-confidence. Congratulations to my team, we won this game and we will try to do the same in the next game" said coach Burić.
