Ahead of the trip to Velika Gorica where Hajduk will play the next two games with NK Gorica (the Croatian Cup round of 16 on Wednesday and the HT First League round 14 on Saturday), head coach Damir Burić said:

"There are no favourites or rules in the Cup games, everyone wants to win, there is always some uncertainty in such games. Gorica played very well against Rijeka and they deserved that away victory. After the Saturday's game, we took a short break and we decided to take all healthy players to Velika Gorica, only two will not travel with us, Bašić and Bulos. Everyone else is ready and fit for the game. The players wanted to stay together between the two games with Gorica, each of them is very important to us and we want to give our best and fix the things that didn't go according to our expectations, especially as far as the away games are concerned".
