After the draw with Rijeka at Rujevica stadium, Hajduk's head coach Damir Burić commented the match on the occasion of his post-match press conference and said:
"This was an interesting derby, Rijeka was better in the first half and we were better in the second. During half-time break we changed some things in our game. We decided to focus more on pass concepts and move combinations but we were not successful enough in the final third, final pass was missing. However, we well deserved to score that equalizer. We are now going home and we will analyze some things. There were some situations that requested better reactions, we made a lot of simple mistakes".
