Hajduk and Slaven Belupo met this evening in Koprivnica for their HT First League round 4 match and the host won 2:1. After the first defeat in the new championship season, head coach Damir Burić said:

"I think that today we defeated ourselves. I can't believe the kind of mistakes that we made, it was impossible not to score from the chances that we had and we managed to do the impossible. We must keep working, improve our concentration and improve offensive efficiency. We also saw some strange decisions today, we fought against everything but in the end we are returning home with no points, which is incomprehensible to me. Also the fact that our player was awarded red card and sent off, everything was strange today, but we must start doing analysis from ourselves, we came into many chances to score but we didn't score for a lead today, they didn't come into many chances but they managed to win. We are disappointed, we wanted to win and in that way thank our supporters, many of them came here today and I'm really sorry for the missed chances in this game" concluded Burić.
