Coach Joan Carrillo and his team well deserved their win over Inter Zapresic in Zapresic. In this match, Hajduk showed a better game, dominated over hosts and won 3:1. The team coached by Samir Toplak took a lead in tje 4th minute when Marko Kolar scored but Toma Basic managed to score an equalizer before the half-time, in tje 34th minute.
Captain Zoran Nizic scored in the 77th minute for a lead of Hajduk while Franck Ohandza scored in the 88th minute for the final 3:1 win of Hajduk.
Coach Carrillo was safisfied after the match, this is what he said at the post-match press conference:
"It was a good match, uncertain and successful, exciting. It was hard to come back after a shocking goal in the third minute, but my team has managed to get over it. They played well, but I changed some of them because I was looking for full intensity, get it up to a higher level. This win is important for our fans, but also a gift for us that have worked very hard. It payed back to us in the best possible way. And motivated us to train even harder. We have to win the upcoming matches at home".
