Coach Joan Carrillo's squad played a fantastic match on Saturday against Osijek. Twenty-six attempts on goal, out of which 13 on target and complete domination from the first to the last minute of the match against Osijek. Hajduk squad more than deservedly celebrated 5:1, and the chant of about 10 000 match spectators wasn't stopping after a big win.

At the post - match press conference, head coach Joan Carrillo couldn't hide his enthusiasm after a great match, congratulating all the players on great performance and dedicating the win to the citizens of Split, congratulating them the upcoming feast of St Domnius - the patron saint of Split (May 07).

"I understand that we are all happy for the victory but we still haven't done anything. I would like to dedicate this victory to the city of Split, tomorrow is a day of the city, I'm glad we made the citizens happy. I'm of the opinion that we deserve it, the club, myself and the supporters. I would also like to dedicate the victory to all mothers, tomorrow is the Mother's day. Mothers of my players, my mother, all mothers. The third thing, I'm dedicating this victory to one important person, that's the President of the club. Today is his birthday, I know how much he is fighting for the club, so I wish him to enjoy this victory. And to all Hajduk fans who are the best".

"I'm proud of my players, from the first day I had confidence in them, today, they proved I was right. I'm happy because we played a complete match as agreed, according to the plan. In the second half, we created chances easily, but we also did well in terms of defense. As a coach, I'm happy to see that, it means the players convinced me that we are making progress" concluded Carrillo.
