Hajduk's midfielder Mijo Caktaš continues the new season in a good shape that has started in the second half of last season. In the season 2018/19, he ended up as HT First League top scorer for which he was awarded a prize ahead of the match with Lokomotiva. Last season he scored 19 goals and on Sunday he scored another one, in the 41st minute, on the asist of Samuel Eduok.
With this goal, he overtook Zvonimir Deranja's position andmoved into second place of Hajduk's top scorers in Croatian First League. This was his 54th goal and only Tomislav Erceg scored more, a total of 81 goals in the championship matches.
He succeeded in this by playing 45 matches in which he scored. He scored to 13 different clubs, the most times to Rudeš (eight goals). He scored oseven goals to Rijeka and five to Dinamo, Istra 1961, Osijek and Inter. In the home matches, he scored 32 goals, while on the away fields he scored 22.
This season, he already scored twice in three games, apart from the goal to Lokomotiva, he also scored a goal on the last away match with Varaždin.
