Head coach Damir Buric held a press conference after MAXtv First League match HNK Rijeka - HNK Hajduk.
Coach Buric was not satisfied with how his team played this match.
"We made too many mistakes in the defense and we were lucky that at halftime the result was 0:0. We thought that Rijeka missed their chances and that we would take control over the match, but then they scored. It was only after their goal that we started playing better and I'm satisfied with that part of the match. Before the goal, we didn't play well. We have to correct some things in our game and I want to congratulate to Rijeka for this victory".
"Our younger players got a chance to play this important game, most of them are 18, 19 and 20 years old, all midfielders and forward players, they were trying hard and gave their best. It was an important new experience for them."
