Hajduk first team travels today to Czech Republic. On Thursday at 7pm it plays the first leg of the Europa League play-off against Slovan in Liberec.
Just before departing, coach Damir Burić have spoken on the press conference.
"We had our last practice yesterday, with some things we can expect in Liberec. We are going with 20 players, some will remain in Split. I hope we will be able to practice tonight without new injuries. Ohandza trained well, but let's wait what doctors will say. I hope he will play at least one half. There are several options for the position of right back, and Milić might be in the first 11."
Speaking about Slovan, Burić said:
"It's a dynamic and strong team with fast passes from line to line. It will be hard to play in Liberec. We are prepared to respond with a certain level of aggression. I honestly say that I'm really pleased with the reaction of our team ahead of this match. Czech football is dynamic and fast, with lots of duels. Slovan has seven or eight new players this season, mostly brought by their new coach. It's an emerging team, thirsty for success."
Here is what Burić expects and wishes:
"I wouldn't be satisfied with a minimum loss. We have shown we have ability, and I believe team became more mature, to play our match victoriously."
