Ahead of MAXtv First League match Istra 1961 - Hajduk, the coach Damir Buric said:

"We analysed Istra and their play is well organized. I hope the pitch is going to be in good condition since we are probably going to dominate possession. I also hope that we are going to play better than the last time when we had a match in Pula. We had to sacrifise that match for UEFA Europa League matches, I made a mistake by rotating players and thinking that we can win against Istra like that. Ohandza, Mujan, Nizic, Maglica, Bilyi, Vlasic, Kalinic and Radchenko are not travelling, they are not fit for this match."

"We played 32 matches this season, including the upcoming one. I'm satisfied with many elements and I expect further progress of each one of the players. They deserve to take a rest during the winter break."

"We are trying to create a positive atmosphere in the team because it is important to conclude this part of the season with a good result. The players say that we never won by chance, everytime we win, it is only because we are a better team. They deserved each victory by working hard and playing well" concluded Buric.
