Hajduk coach Damir Burić has spoken on the press conference after the match against Rijeka.
"Considering it was a derby, it was interesting game. Unfortunately, early red card made the whole match going in different direction. My team worked hard, and gave all it could give, we had some good opportunities, too, and we can only feel sorry we didn't win," said Burić.
Coach Burić declined one of the reporters' remark that Hajduk played cowardly with an extra player.
"What you said is bad, disrespectful, please select words next time when you will be talking about Hajduk and my team. We had our plans, and we were holding to it, therefore you should know better when talking about it. We knew all the Rijeka's virtues, but we have some, too. It's not my task on the pitch to please you. After all, Rijeka didn't have a single on target attempt. We had six injured players, and still had all the will, and chance to win. Also, my team played very fair," said Hajduk's head coach.
