We saw a dominating Hajduk, with well played opportunities. The final result is realistic, said Hajduk head coach Damir Burić after the 6-2 win against JK Sillamäe Kalev of Estonia in Dugopolje.

Coach was confident in his players' power.

"I was certain we will win, ask players what I have told them in the halftime. It was just a matter of a moment when we will fulfill our plans, everything was there, prepared. My only surprise was how easily Sillamäe scored," said Burić.

Team captain Goran Milović had to be substituted for the head injury, but it turned out nothing serious except a bruise on his head.

"He is feeling better, but we'll see how long it will take for the full recovery," said Burić.

In spite of the high victory, Burić still sees a space for improvement.

"We must always seek a way how to improve our play. I want to thank my players, those are mostly boys of 18 or 19 years of age, we must never forget that. I am very pleased," said Burić.

This season opens with a tight schedule. This Sunday Hajduk plays against its archrival Dinamo in Zagreb.

"I want to enjoy this day. Considering we were under very strong pressure, I tried to set them free, to persuade them they have quality and knowledge. We are on a good way, but don't praise them too much, because we can go back down anytime. I was focused on Estonians, let's talk about Dinamo tomorrow, and day after," said coach.

He also praised fans who created unique atmosphere, and team's hosts in Dugopolje who prepared the match superbly.

Burić finished his press conference with a note about Ohandza:

"We followed Franck closely, and analysed him well. It wasn't easy to bring him to Split, a struggle was fierce with other teams. He had chosen us because of Hajduk, and not for financial reasons. I know that some much richer clubs were inviting him, and he deserves all respect for choosing Hajduk," said Burić.
