Croatia U-19 this afternoon played against Germany U-19 in Sinj and lost 1:2 in the first European Under-19 Championship qualifying match. Germany won thanks to the last-minute goal.
In the 57th minute, Hajduk's Jakov Blagaić scored the only goal for Croatia from 13 meters, from practically the first contact with the ball after he entered as a substitute a few minutes before. Our midfielder Ante Palaversa captained Croatia and played full-time. Michele Šego was among the starting 11 and played until the 85th minute, while Leon Kreković entered as a substitute in the 85th minute.
Croatia U-19 will play against their next opponent Hungary on Saturday in Dugopolje, kick - off 17:00.
