Midfielders Toma Basic and Josip Radosevic scored the two goals for Hajduk in their team's 2:1 home win against NK Cibalia.
"I'm glad I scored, but it doesn't matter who scores, the important thing is to win. Free kicks are one of my specialties but I still have to keep working on them every day at the training sessions. I believe and hope this is not all that I can give. Against Dinamo, we want to show that we can also play a good derby. We're playing at Poljud and we have to go for a victory. We have a great support of our fans and we will do everything possible to win the match" said a 21-year-old Basic, who scored from a stunning free-kick in the 6th minute of the match.
"Maybe we could have decided the winner earlier in the match. That's what we need to learn from this kind of matches, we have to correct it for the next games. We simply have to win such matches. In the first half, they were defending and it was difficult to score. In the second half, they lost the rhythm and we improved ours. We've changed the system as well, while they were waiting for our counterattacks. Dinamo is our next opponent. Every one of us needs to concentrate, we have to play much better, like we did in the matches against stronger opponents. I believe we will play a good match" Radosevic was optimistic after the match.
