ANTE PALAVERSA

Young Hajduk's talent Ante Palaversa has been participating his first pre-season preparations with the first team. Ante had signed his first professional contract with the club a month ago, along with a series of talented players representing Hajduk's future.
"I can only say that this is my dream come true. As a kid, when I played "street football" like any child of the city, I dreamed of this happening, that I become a member of the first Hajduk team. Of course, I want to work harder and prove myself from training to training, this is the only way to make progress and I'm truly dedicated to it.
For his games at the pre-season friendly matches, he gets a lot of praise, just like all the other young players in Slovenia...
"I'm glad we have shown what we know on the field, and the audience also recognized this and rewarded us with applause at the end of the last game. Of course, the compliments are always nice to hear, but as I said, I'm focused exclusively on the work. Only that brings you to the top.
He adapted to the seniors' football by playing one season in the second team Hajduk II, where he played great games in Second Division ...
"Second-team coach Siniša Oreščanin has really contributed to the development of young players, which is now visible on the field. We want to continue working the same way and I can only be grateful that with such coaches I can progress.
"Palaversa will be a top player" commented our right back Josip Juranović in the passage...
Coach Željko Kopic invited him this summer to join the first team's training...
"Fitness training is extremely demanding, but of course I got used to it fast. It's all normal on the road to success. There is also a lot of work on the tactics, and I am particularly glad that I have the opportunity to learn and train with such good players. I am happy that coach Kopić has great confidence in us young players, and that is an additional motivation for us for the future work.
Expectations in the future ...
"First and foremost, to prove myself to the head coach and his assistants by hard work dedication, to be a part of Hajduk team that will achieve the highest goals. Fulfilling it would be wonderful".
