27-year old Ante Erceg scored 4 goals in July and August and played 7 matches, of which Hajduk won in 5. In the first 7 championship rounds, he is currently the club's top scorer, together with Franck Ohandza.

Erceg shared his impressions regarding the season:

"For the last match against Lokomotiva, which is a good team that plays well, we decided to stay concentrated from the kick - off till the end and and we prepared well fot the match. We sticked to the plan and played well, which is why we won 3 points. In the end. it is the most important thing. We will continue this way, match by match, and our main goal is to win as many points as possible".

"I'm satisfied with my games but it is all because the team works hard, it is their merit too. My dream came thue when I came to Hajduk, I'm really satisfied with the team. I'm motivated to keep working and I want to thank everyone for their warm welcome".

"We want to win all 6 points in the next two matches. I'm unfortunately suspended for the upcoming match against Inter for accumulated yellow cards but I believe we will win and then we will play at home against Slaven Belupo and Cibalia, with our fans' support we will win those matches too".
