
Andrija Balic is no longer a player of Hajduk Split.
The 18 - year old midfielder signed a 4.5 year long contract with the Italian Serie A club Udinese.
"I've been playing for Hajduk since the age of 10 and this is where my childhood dream came true. The transfer to Udinese is an opportunity to make a new step ahead in my career. I want to thank to my teammates, all coaches, club employees and fans, I experienced beautiful moments with them" said Balic.
Andrija Balic made his debut for Hajduk's first team when he was 16 years and two months old, in a friendly match against FC Besiktas at Poljud, in October 2013.
Half a year later, on April 13, 2014, he played his first official match against RNK Split at Poljud. He was 16 years and 245 days old and became the second youngest debutant of Hajduk in the history of First Croatian League.
Furthermore, he is the third youngest striker of Hajduk in the First Croatian League. He scored his first out of 6 championship goals at the age of 17 years and 202 days, against NK Zadar.
He collected 45 caps in the official matches for Hajduk, out of which 32 in the championship.
He scored 10 goals and had 6 assists.
Just like his first, his last official match for Hajduk was ance again played against RNK Split, on December 15, 2015 at Poljud.
