Two goals in sixty minutes of play - it's Adam Gyurcso's statistics at today's friendly match in which Hajduk managed to beat Trencin 4:2. The new winger that came to Hajduk's preparatory base in Turkey ten days ago showed today what we can expect from him in the spring.
"I'm happy to have scored two goals. For a newcomer in the team, it is very important to adjust to the game and teammates as soon as possible. I think we have good players, a good team and we can do a lot of things in the remaining part of the season. We work hard on training sessions and try to show everything that the coach asks us to do in the game. We've been successful so far, but we have two more weeks to prepare for the first official match. I believe we will be ready" Gyurcso said after the match.
Hajduk won each of the three international friendlies and is slowly implementing all the ideas that the coach Zeljko Kopic demands from them on the training sessions. In many segments of the game, the team is reacting automatically, but there is still time for further work and progress. All in order to get ready for the first official match in the second part of the season.
"It's always nice to win even though it's a friendly match. Of course, there were mistakes in the game, but it is a training period and there is time for further corrections. All in all, I am glad we have achieved a 100% success in the matches, which is very important for further motivation. The most important thing is to continue working the same way to get ready for the spring part of the season and the challenges ahead of us" concluded Gyurcso.
