
Only during the current half of the season, from mid-June until today, football players of Hajduk have played 11 friendly matches. Four matches took place during pre-season training camp, two in Austria (Ujpest and Vorwaerts) and two in Slovenia (Aluminium and Zalgiris) and they then have played six more friendlies against teams from Dalmatia and Herzegovina. Just before the start of the season, they played a general test match against a friendly team of Slavia Prague. By the end of the first part of the season, the number of friendly matches will be 13, namely there are still two confirmed friendlies ahead of the first team. On November 11, 2016, Hajduk is invited to a celebration of the 80th anniversary of the team from Stari Grad, island of Hvar, and four days later they are going to Imotski for another friendly.
From June, eight friendly matches have been played or will be played with teams from Dalmatia and Herzegovina.

The first pre-season friendly was played against NK Mosor in Zrnovnica, during the second week of summer preparations, it was a goalless draw. Before the new season started, a guest neighbor RNK Split played against Hajduk at Poljud stadium was and Hajduk won by 1:0. Only a few days ahead of the first Europa League match, the first team attended the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Junak in Sinj, where they played a friendly match and won 1:0.
In the past two months, Hajduk played two international friendly matches at Poljud, against the teams from Bosnia-Herzegovina ( they defeated Siroki Brijeg 3:1 and Zrinjski 2:0).
On the island of Korcula, they played a friendly against BSK Zmaj to celebrate their 90th anniversary and they won 2:0.
The next matches will be played in Stari Grad on the island of Hvar and in Imotski.
