
Hajduk started its preparations for the second half of the season on Monday afternoon, when the team gathered at Poljud for the first training session.
Coach Damir Buric and his assistants had 23 available players, all of which already played the first half of the season for Hajduk (apart from Anton Maglica who transferreed to Apollon Limassol). Buric also invited Ivan Mastelic from Hajduk II and Ivan Prskalo, who was on loan to Sesvete (2nd League) where he was League's top scorer.
Hrvoje Milic got some additional days off as he just got married, while Velazquez and Jefferson are coming back from South America soon.
The first new player that joined Hajduk in the winter transfer window is 25 year old Argentinian striker Nicolas Leandro Velez who comes to Split on Wednesday. After a medical assessment, this player will sign a contract with Hajduk.
