Hajduk's head coach Damir Burić was overjoyed and satisfied after the derby in which Hajduk beat Dinamo. Hajduk played a tactically great match and well deserved to win the home game in front of 30 000 spectators who came to watch the derby at Poljud.
"Our plan was high pressing, just like Dinamo did in the first half. We found some ways to get into a chance and we know the qualities of Dinamo, but with a lot of courage and agression we deserved this victory. What we did today will mean for a while to all of us. These are nice moments, this is a victory for all true Hajduk supporters who are suffering with us and who were coming back from Osijek sad and disappointed. Today we all enjoyed the greatest possible atmosphere and game, we are happy for them and for us" said Burić after the game.
