The latest Report of the CIES Football Observatory presented the rankings of clubs who trained the most players active in the leagues surveyed and Hajduk is ranked 7th among European best training clubs.
The club-trained players are footballers who have been in club’s Youth Academy for at least three seasons between the ages of 15 and 21, currently playing in the club that trained them or under contract with other European top division clubs.
By this criteria, Hajduk trained 49 players among which 11 are currently playing for the club’s first team, while 38 players play for another top division team of the championships taken into account.
The club-trained players from Hajduk’s Youth Academy have one of the highest employment rates recorded, with an average of 43,8% of minutes of play for the first team between July and October 2015.
Among top 10 main training clubs in Europe, there is another Croatian club, GNK Dinamo (ranked 4th), and this is the ranking:
