Hajduk's central defender Gustavo Carbonieri successfully underwent surgery today at the Clinical Hospital Centre Split's Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology. Gustavo's dislocation and ventricular rupture of the left ankle were successfully treated by Hajduk's doctor Ante Bandalovic, who performed the surgery.
Everything went fine, he will now stay in Split during the process of rehabilitation, under the supervision of another Hajduk's doctor Boris Becir and the Club's physiotherapists, until fully recovering and returning to football pitch with his teammates.
