Brazilian player Gustavo Carbonieri Santa Rosa joined Hajduk today at the pre-season camp base on Pohorje and in the afternoon he had the first training session with the team. A twenty-five-year-old defender with the experience of playing in Portugal and Brazil came to Hajduk on trial.
He played for Portuguesa Desportos, Ponte Preta and Juventus São Paulo academies, from where he moved to Tombense FC. From Tombense, Carbonieri went on loan to Portuguese Santa Clara, where he collected 27 appearances.
On Wednesday, Sports Director of Hajduk Mario Branco joined the squad on Pohorje. The Sports Director will join coach Joan Carrillo, coaching staff and players during the preparations in Slovenia and watch the upcoming training sessions and friendly matches.
