The first team coach Siniša Oreščanin commented today's draw that took place in Nyon. Hajduk drew Maltese football club Gzira United and it will be their first official match in the new football season. The first leg match will take place in Malta and seven days later, Hajduk will be hosting Gzira at Poljud.
"We have some initial information about our first opponent. Gzira United ended the last season in third place. We now have enough time to make a full analysis of our opponent so that we can start the season well prepared. We want to duly justify the fact that we were a seeded team in this draw and it is our intention to qualify to the next competition stage. We will analyze their matches in details so that we can achieve our objectives" said the coach after the draw.
